You will find a link to a letter that will be sent out at the beginning of the semester.  We hope that you will find this letter useful as we go through this coming year.

Band continues to be one of the most influential classes that a student can take.  Students have a wide variety of experiences with band and music, in general.  I have found that students who put work and effort into this craft, get way more out of it!

We hope that you will find Band to be a rewarding experience and something that you will continue to support and participate in for years to come!  We look forward to getting to know you and your student as the year goes on and we look forward to hearing the progress your student makes from the beginning to the end!

Ernie Williamson Music is the company that we use for our Rental Program at Monett Schools.  We proud of our partnership with this wonderfully established music company!
Ernie Williamson has all the information for what is required for each instrument by the Band Directors.  Ernie Williamson has an incredible deal for Beginning Band members.  They are helping us to lower the cost of Beginning Band families.

Students will need the following items for Beginning Band Class:
  • An Instrument
  • Maintenance Kit
  • Compact Stand (for use at home)
  • Box of Reeds (Clarinets & Saxophones ONLY)
  • Tradition of Excellence, Book 1

You can choose to have them deliver the instruments to the school and it will save you a trip to Springfield!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Band Directors ([email protected]) or you can call Ernie Williamson Music at (417) 881-1373.
Below you will find the list of required and recommended supplies for your student to have the most success! We want your student to be successful! We have put together this list to help set yourself up for success and find enjoyment in making music through instruments!

Mouthpiece: Clark W. Fobes Debut (w/ rubber pad)
Reed: Vandoren Clarinet 3 (Dark Blue Box)
